Our Story & Philosophy

Fuzzy Foods was set up in 2017 whilst I was working as a teacher. I found that children were far more stimulated and inspired in the classroom if the classes were interactive and fun, so I started making my own teaching resources including a selection of felt foods which the children loved.

Before long I was receiving requests from fellow teachers to produce a wider range of items for use in their classrooms, including some teachers who found they fit perfectly into their Montessori and Waldorf curricula.

As the demand for my work grew, friends also started requesting my work to educate their children about healthy eating and science at home.

​

Over the past year I have been working hard to develop the main range on sale today. Guided by my main aesthetic of bold shapes and vivid colour, I am very proud of the results. Education has always been at the centre of this enterprise and I love hearing stories of how my creations are inspiring curious kids and aspiring little chefs.

​

I continue to handcraft all the products on sale through this website from my workshop in the United Kingdom, with love.
